Housekeeping

I am in the process of fucking about with the template. This might involve a bold new direction, about which I have not informed the rest of the team. Stay tuned, and please be understanding about any design weirdness.

Update: Yes oh yes! See above "Now Incorporating Cohen Watch"! (in somewhat smaller type as Nick Cohen is not in the greater scheme of things as important as Aaronovitch). I think that this blog has had a salutory effect on Aaro since its foundation, however deprived of the calming effect of Decent Dave's presence, Nasty Nick's worst instincts have come out. Hence, "watch". Don't worry lads this will not involve you in any more work. I have sorted out an (entirely) anonymous contributor for most of the Cohen bits and will do a few myself. Our empire grows and grows.

There was a piece by Cohen in the Standard last night, but it doesn't appear to be available online. It was about the impossibility of extraditing an extremist cleric to Egypt. Cohen seemed to be in favour of the extradition process.

Well, I'm quite happy to contribute some stuff about Nick Cohen in an irritatingly patronising "more in sorrow than in anger tone." Honestly, it'll set your teeth on edge.

Wardy - yes that was the one which pushed my mate over the edge. To be honest he's not that reliable so anyone who wants to chip in please do. I thought the Tuesday Aaro was actually not all that bad, btw; exactly the sort of thing that makes Wardytron think we're wasting our time. Although there is a distinct subtext to it which is worth bringing out and I will try to do so ...

Cohen's bizarre participation in this comments thread on Crooked Timber is worth a look.
