Aaronovision

Via "Not in my Name", a bunch of YouTube videos featuring Aaro vs Norman Finkelstein on "Are the Israel Lobby Stifling Debate?", live from (I think) the Oxford Union. On the substantive question, I personally take the Flannery O'Connor position.

Update: I suppose that pedants might suggest it is unlikely that "www.neverinournames.com" is the URL of "Not in my name". This is part of the charm of blogs.

Second update: Someone remind me that the next time we find some video to link to we ought to call the post "Lights, Camera, Euston!"

this happens from time to time as they forget to pay the bill. I would put the odds of a return at about 95% (I don't know how much it costs to host, so I will recognise about a 1 in 20 chance that the remaining active members of the cast of thousands decide to give it up). In any case, expect to see a number of new bloggers recruited from the comments section (pyramid scheme much?).

Harry's Place is not down. It may be experiencing some temporary difficulties due to Islamofascists at the billing department but it is functioning perfectly well despite the disgraceful failure of large parts of the liberal intelligentsia to recognise this. Besides, why don't they write about the many stopper sites which are no longer functioning (etcetcetc)

Your personal view is that the Israeli lobby does not stifle enough debate?

Apparently they're back and talking about other people's silences again.

Wouldn't it be better if they were silent and everybody else was back?
