Mea Maxima Culpa

While fucking around on an unrelated blog project, I clicked the wrong link and instructed Wordpress to import this blog. Wordpress then decided to launch an all-out war on line breaks in Aaronovitch Watch. I will put them back. I am very sorry indeed.

I didn't know that you could export from blogger. I'm sure I read someone earlier this week who said that you couldn't and that fact exposed a lack of confidence by Google. They only have to lock you in if they think you'll try to escape.

Wordpress is weird. I'm in a minority, but I don't like it.

I'm not sure I like it any better. I was trying to see what it would look like if I moved D^2D over there - it looks shit, mainly because I have such an unbelievably old-school Blogger template that WP can't handle the titles. The AW posts that I moved over by accident seemed to import really well though, although the import broke down halfway through, and Wordpress did something funny to the template that screwed up our line breaks (I've now managed to find out what it was). Blogger Beta doesn't import at all though, which might be what yer man was talking about.

I notice your DD/MM/YYYY format has gone West as well. And the timezone is Atlanticist too. Or perhaps it was always like that.

I just noticed that I have killed "Quote of the Month" and the link list as well. Bastardhole. I will try and repair them.
