If we were doing a Christmas quiz, I am sure I could get a great question out of this; brief mention of Aaro's radio 4 series on the Romans half way down.
We all know you just get it off Google News. What your loyal readers want is real exclusives. Don't you get the Ham & High up your way? Aaro must be in that from time to time.
give over it took me hours of research to confirm that "historian David Aaronovitch" was in fact just the Wired journo getting his wires crossed and he meant Aaro. The H&H is indexed by Google news anyway; Aaro is in it from time to time, I think the last reference was when he was chairing a debate on contraception.
I see your point. On the face of it this is obviously a different Nick, but the more you read the more you realise that you can perfectly imagine him saying some of these things. Not all can have prizes, after all.
