Irregular Something-or-others

Random juxtaposition of the day. Exhibit A: Harry's Place October 22 2010.

Exhibit B: Harry's Place September 13 2008 (but there are many, many more examples).

We ask the question: is this evidence of industrial-standard chutzpah or brain death?

You decide.

I think it's more likely indicative of your determination to ensure you take at least one swipe at HP every week, even if doing so means you have to drag up a two-year old post by a once occasional guest poster who, from memory, has barely commented at HP in recent months (let alone posted) and whom most of the commenters regards as a bit of a berk. In my particular case, that would be 'a lot of a berk'.

Do carry on.

It may be precisely that, Brownie. Or it may be that I just searched your site for use of "Not in my name" and that happened to be the first hit. There were many more, and Harry's Place has very consistently regarded that as a slogan used by Stoppers, hypocrites, and wankers. Until the day when it suddenly makes sense.

The particularly nice thing about the Chas Newkey-Burden book-title and post was that he was very explicit that only hypocrites would use the phrase. I can't see anything hypocritical about it at all.

Perhaps it was Gene's post-irony?

I refer you to my earlier comment and the 'berk-like' status of said gentleman.
